Margaux and Fabien

Margaux grew up in Paris, but since she was a child she always knew that one day she would be living in New Zealand. So when the time came to buy the airline ticket it was a one way trip!

After spending a couple of months travelling around the North island she arrived in Wellington in September 2018 and along with her partner Fabien she knew that this was the place to settle.

Not long after this Margaux wondered up the stairs to my studio and fell in love with a simple crochet lace low backed dress. As soon as she put it on she felt like herself and I could tell by her happy face that this dress was the one.

It was a beautiful afternoon when she came back to the studio straight from collecting her sister and Mother from the airport after they had flown over from New Caledonia to visit her. They loved the dress and Margaux's sister fitted in perfectly to the

setting as she sang along to the french music I had playing.

The wedding took place in a beautiful garden on the Kapiti coast which was chosen for the relaxed feeling that suited Margaux and Fabien and the fun day that they had planned for their family and friends.

The whole day was like a fairy tale to them, the most special moments being the "first look" with Fabien and her Dad escorting her out in front of all their special friends and family.

Margaux chose local vendors from the Kapiti coast to create the look she was after for her big day.
