COASTAL INSPIRATION PHOTO SHOOT

We are so excited to have a stream of gorgeous photos to share with you today from a recent collaborative photo shoot with a talented group of Wellington creative ladies! Set against the rocky shoreline of Houghton Bay here in Wellington, this shoot captured the last of the Winter light. A crisp Southerly wind wrapped around us as we captured two of Sophie Voon Bridal's newest wedding dresses. Lashings of our gorgeous new laces contrasted against the tumbling coastline. A fur stole was definitely in order - with long pendants and mixed metals for a look that heralds colonial style. Laura is responsible for the amazing photography, and was an absolute visionary to work with. She understood exactly what our vision was for the shoot, and even went out and found the perfect location when we started brainstorming ideas! Her friendly approach was wonderful, and she has a great eye for detail. Katie and Lizzie from Of Noble Nature designed the most exquisite bouquet for the shoot, with layers of gorgeous plum, magenta, and soft pinks flowers. Surrounded by soft and fresh green foliage, this worked beautifully alongside our organic backdrop. We just love their modern approach to flowers, using fresh and seasonal blooms and foliage. Sarah Louise created a smoky make up look for us - with soft and earthy colours for an element of modern romance. Cuisle worked beautiful waves into our model's dark hair, which danced in the breeze with a life of their own. Thank you again to all our brilliant collaborators! We had so much fun creating this with you!
